This tutorial will show you a simple way to upload files to the web using Internet Explorer. First, go to the folder on your computer where the files you wish to upload are stored, for example My Documents. Highlight the file(s) you wish to upload and then press CTRL+C on your keyboard to Copy.





Next, open up Internet Explorer. In the address bar, type ftp:// then your webspace username, : and then your webspace password. Then put @ followed by your hostname (for example f1.net.au). Press Enter/Return on your keyboard.



You should then be presented with a blank window, or, a window with a few folders in it. Select the folder named "HTML" or "htmlfiles" or similar by double clicking. You should then be presented with a blank window or a window with files and folder in it. Now press CTRL+V or right click and select paste to begin uploading your files in which you selected/copied earlier.
